Blake’s Parliamentary Year Book Phone Calls 6.12.07
In the last few weeks, several schools and colleges have been contacted by a man purporting to be 'Head of Excellence in Education' or 'Director for Excellence in Sport' at the 'Parliamentary Office' and mention is made of Ed Balls.The individual is claiming that, under a new initiative, schools are eligible for special funding of over £500,000 and all that is required of them is to send a fax confirming they will contribute a sum towards a bid for those funds and/or for related advertising in the Parliamentary Yearbook. This is not an initiative and these calls are not linked with the DCSF in any way.
