Resource Assistant

Ref: HR08-26
Salary: c£21-21.5k per annum

The Resource Assistant will be required to monitor and maintain our in-house time recording system (TEMPUS). They will set up new users on the system, make any necessary changes to existing user profiles and carry out Tempus training for all new members of staff. All new tasks would need to be created on the system with time allocated to the relevant task manager. Each month they would be required to run a series of reports that would be used to monitor the performance of the consultancy teams.
The company currently utilises a large number of associates and the successful candidate will maintain the database of associates, ensure that all have a valid contract & work order & that all new associates are added to the tempus database and have time allocated to them.

Clerking Administrator

Ref: HR08-25
Salary Band 2 - £18,000

You will be required to provide administrative support to the Clerking Manager by assisting with the delivery of a Clerking Service to Surrey and external schools and to provide statutory advice and support to Clerks and Governors on Governance issues via email and telephone enquiries.
The post requires excellent organisational skills and the ability to work accurately under pressure at times as well as good IT skills including a working knowledge of Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint and Word. There is an expectation that the post holder (with appropriate training) will take on the role of Clerk to a Governing Body to support their knowledge and continuous professional development. A knowledge of Governance is desirable but not essential.

Caretaking and Cleaning Services Manager

Salary: £35 – 37k per annum plus benefits

We are looking to appoint an experienced team manager to provide leadership and direction for the Caretaking and Cleaning team, working in over 400 Surrey schools and other establishments.
Reporting to the Head of FM Premises, the suitable candidate will have experience of specialist procurement (including OJEU) and managing complex contracts. The proven ability to develop and increase our customer base whilst ensuring continuous service improvements and excellent customer feedback is key to success in this role.
In addition, the successful candidate will need a positive attitude, a professional and flexible approach with excellent communication and presentation skills. Experience in developing business processes and budget management is essential whilst a qualification in Facilities Management or Purchasing is desirable.
A valid driving licence and an Enhanced Criminal Records Bureau (CRB) clear disclosure are essential requirements of this post.

Secondary Curriculum Consultant – Science

Salary Band 5: £42k - £46k per annum

We need an outstanding Science classroom practitioner to contribute to learning, teaching and continuous improvement across Surrey’s secondary schools. Your role will involve helping to identify teachers' development needs and providing training and consultancy. You will also be expected to stay abreast of new developments in your subject area.
Your relevant honours degree and teaching qualification will be complemented by significant experience of teaching Science at KS3 and KS4. This may have included managing a curriculum area, leading on aspects of the Science Secondary National Strategy and training, observing and evaluating teaching. Strong presentation and communication skills, a high level of ICT literacy and an in-depth understanding of curriculum and pedagogical issues will be essential.
